Friends of Monroe, located in Monroe County West Virginia, is accepting donations for the Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory. Friends of Monroe is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible and will be applied directly to the rebuilding project.
The Friends of Monroe was organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, and for the promotion of sustainable community development. We seek to partner or collaborate with other organizations to develop projects for the greater welfare of Monroe County residents.
Monroe County is a beautiful, rural county in southern West Virginia. Quiet and friendly, visitors and residents alike find life here very soothing and relaxing. There’s also plenty of hard work to be done. Check back later to see some of our projects and opportunities to become involved.
