Lynn Morgan was a resident of Peterstown. He worked at AEP in Glen Lyn, Virginia, where he retired in 2010. He worked six years at Napa in Rich Creek Napa, then began wood carving, which he’s been doing for nearly five years. It all began with a wooden carving he found in the wall of a house he was rewiring. It was a short stick, maybe 30 inches, with a snake’s body spiraling upward with the simple snake head as the top of the stick.
From there, he continued developing his skills and trying new sculptures, whatever interested him. As a skilled electrician, he is comfortable with creating his own tools and equipment.
