Friends of Monroe and the WV Mushroom Club will host a Spring Mushroom Walk on Saturday, April 15th on the Potts Valley Rail Trail and Moncove Lake State Park. The event is free to WV Mushroom Club Members, and $10 per person for non-members. Join this guided walk and talk with lunch provided. A program on identifying wild mushrooms will be part of the event.
Check-in is at 9:30 a.m. at the Waiteville Community Center, 1735 Rays Siding Rd., Waiteville (the former Waiteville School building). The event will last until about 2 p.m.
Pre-registration is required and numbers are limited.
